ok so i am totally in love with this guy but i know this is a shallow thing to say but, i don't want to go out with him because he's shorter than me by about 3 inches. what should i do???

Hey...if Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes are willing to marry "shortie" Tom Cruise...you can deal with it too!
There are a lot of real diamonds out there - that just happen to be a bit short. Also...how old is he? If he's under 21-22 he may still be growing. My husband was under 5 feet tall when he graduated from high school. By the time he was 21 he was 5'8!
