I'm going to Times Square for New Years/My Birthday and my boyfriend wants to take me out to a nice dinner. He wants me to pick the place. We thought it would be cool to see some celebrities... since it's New Year's, they've gotta be out, right?! Well, we want to dress up and we were thinking like a steakhouse or maybe Itailian. Any suggestions??

3. One If By Land, Two If By Sea- Contemporary- fantastic food- very romantic

after 10:30 p.m. make reservations at Joe Allen's for a table in the bar area. the entrance and exit door is at the front of the bar area. celebrities frequent this restaurant!
also, Elaine's is another late night celebrity dining restaurant. need reservations after midnight!
my recommendation is to eat at Patsy's or Sparks then go party!
make reservations at Joe Allen for drinks and more eats and you might catch a glimpse of some celebrities. then if you still want to stay out go to Elaine's!

If you're into Japanese Try SAPA the food is really good and there are always celebs in there. It's in Soho which is such a trendy area of the city. I went with my boyfriend one of the first weeks they opened it was awesome.Ooh and Cinema (midtown east) is also a really cool place to eat they have amazing food. Look on citysearch. com it has a lot of reviews, and articles, and rating based on whether you're looking for a romantic dining experience or possibly want Jamaican food. basically it usually always helps.

Try "Churrascaria Palataforma" it's on 49th (8th Avenue and Broadway)...they do lots of birthday's celebrations and the food....Well, if you and your boyfriend like barbecue, you will love this place.

PS: Naomi Campbell goes there a lot and some others Victoria's Secrets models like Adriana Lima with her new boyfrined.

Serendipitys is well known for their ice cream but they also have some really good food.
Mars2112...their food is ok but the atmosphere is amazing
