Grace is being given something you do not deserve...like forgiveness and eternal life.

And mercy is not giving you something you do deserve...like hell.

It is by the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ that we can have faith in Him, forgiveness of sins, and eternal life with Him.

Grace can be described in many ways but i will give you a story so you can see grace.
A very old man had a child with his wife when he was 60 and she was 50. This man loves his son with all his heart. He was the joy of his life and all his days were spent loving his son. He had wanted a son for many years a heir. When his wife became sick he took a job at the docks And each day he and his son would go to the docks and he would work as the boy played then one day the little boy being only 5 decided to go play near the rail road gate at the harbor. And as a train came to the gate the old man looked for his son and yield for his son and the son came running over the bridge and tripped into the gears of the draw bridge. The man looked at his son as he was trapped in the gears and looked at the train with 300 plus people in it and then with tears running down his face and his heart breaking he pulled the switch that lowered the draw bridge which killed his son. This is grace when someone recieves from you that which cost you everything and them nothing. This is what God did at the cross of Jesus. God allowed the death of his Son which cost him everything and us nothing.

Grace is undeserved favor and love. When someone gives you something that you did not work for or deserve - that is grace.

Grace is defined as undeserved merit, or favor. It is the basis on which God justifies a man and puts him in right stead with Himself, based solely on what God has done and not on what the man deserves. It is set in contrast to wages earned. God has concluded all men guilty as sinners before Him and deserving of His wrath, but instead of meting out His wrath against man, He poured out His wrath on the Lord Jesus Christ as an atoning sacrifice, so that all the blessing Jesus deserved could be conferred upon all who accept Him as their sin substitute.

If your talking about the prayer before a meal its giving thanks to
god.
but if your talking about she walked with grace then it means to
move perfectly smooth.
