Tough situation with not being able to go anywhere. If it's really that bad maybe there's a local womans shelter you can go to or just work on saving up money - open up a different account so that he doesn't know about it and start saving. Then you can leave. Tell him that this problem hurts you and it's hard on you when he takes it out on you. Maybe also you could seek some help for him, some type of local support so you two don't need to be going through this alone. If he says no to a support group then he's not giving it 100% to quit - which he should be if he honestly wants to.

Good luck!

You don't have to live with a guy who needs to quit something but doesn't. There are safe houses where you can go and stay until you can get your feet under you. You have to decide what to do. IF you decide to leave him, put a little plan together so that you can leave safely and easily. Find a women's shelter in your area and go there.

"On his cycle"? Does he have a period? Seriously, you either need to leave him, or make him leave. If he's being abusive, call the cops and make him leave. Tell them that you are "in fear of your life". If you can't get rid of him, then you need to figure out somewhere else that you can go.

You have friends right? Go there. If they're true friends they'll help out. Don't stay with this jerk. You deserve much better than that, you know that. You're just attached right now because it's been so long. Just be strong and let go.

Call your parents, good friends or pack your bags. Just get out. Verbal abuse means he has no respect for you.
