My younger sis graduates @ end of May from lawschool, My 30th Bday is also at the end of May, I'm taking both of us on a vacation! Does Italy have more to do, sightsee? Or does the Bahamas? Which places in each MUST we see?

you DEFINITELY need to go to the Bahama's. Italy is wonderful and all and i would love to go there some day, don't get me wrong... but the bahama's would be much more relaxing and enjoyable for you and your sister to spend some quality time together. (and get an awesome tan! lol)

Not too sure about the Bahamas, but Italy is wonderful!
Rome has sooo many sights to see. Venice is beautiful to walk around in. Milan is a trendy city. Florance is quaint and full of art. Leaning towers of Pisa..... the list goes on.
I backpacked around Italy for around 2 weeks a few years ago, visiting the above places (albeit a little too fast!) and loved it. The food is so so so good and the people are nice.

We vote for Italy. The Bahamas are have beautiful beaches and resorts if that's what you want, but Italy has so much to see. Rome with the ancient forum and coliseum, the Vatican, the shopping and the food.... Florence... the hill towns of Tuscany. It's just so much fun! Get a good guide book with pictures and choose what you want to see... there's too much to tell in a short answer!

I suggest Bahamas since you can have fun by swimming and drinking tropical drinks. Bahamas is the resort, Italy is the tourism.

I like the idea of a beach and relaxation time. Who wants to run around like a chicken with their head cutoff looking at stuff. Plus you ll get that quality time sisters need to connect. You will never be thirty again and she will never graduate from law school again. Besides she might just be tired from all the hard work she just did.
