Too much... A friend of mine decided to have the tat she had on her breast removed and it took three laser treatments, several months apart and almost $3000. It all depends on size of tat, how old, and how colourful. The scarring took longer to go away after all was done, but now, two years later, u can hardly see that she even had one there, its more like a slight discoloration of the skin at the spot, barely noticeable unless u knew there was a tattoo there and how it was removed.
Merry Christmas!

Laser Tattoo is a long-term commitment. It is a rare tattoo than can be completely removed by just a few treatments! Fees for laser tattoo removal are based on the size of the tattoo being treated. Many laser centers charge 1/2 of the initial fee for repeat treatments. The total cost of tattoo removal cannot be predicted exactly because the number of treatments necessary for "complete" removal will vary. In general, black or blue amateur tattoos will require fewer treatments than professional multicolored tattoos.
One the size of a matchbook will cost $300-700
One the size of a video or paperback book $1500-2000

I just got a tattoo and the guy who did it mentioned that they came out with this new process where they ink some stuff in you, Same way as getting a tattoo done, it scabs up and pulls the ink out of you. A few sessions will have to be done and that's all I know but sounds less painful and least expensive.
Not that I would get it, I LOVE MY TATTOO. Just word of mouth sort of thing.
