Personally, I would rather regret something I have done than regret not doing something. I do not want to be in my "golden years" wondering "what if". I have always looked at it from this perspective; the choices I have made, have made me the person I am. As long as I am comfortable with that person, then I have few things to regret. There are things I think I could have done differently but I can't really say I regret much.

I'd say that it is better to regret not doing something as you always have the chance to do it again in the future.
If, on the other hand you've done something you regret then you can't undo it.

If you choose to NOT do someting you will never know if your missed an opportunity. As far as regretting something you have done, it could happen, but it is also a way of learning life's lessons...choosing our own path and accepting the responsibilities that come with it.

what would you regret not doing? I don't regret not doing drugs, I don't have any side effects to live with. I regret having sex before marriage. I wish I didn't have that to regret.

Regretting something you have done, if it is bad! And the other is it depends on what you are regretting you didn't do, if it something good that would benifit you.

I try not to regret anything. But I find that if I ever do regret something, it`s because I didn`t do it.

I think it's better to regret doing something, at least you can learn from it.

If it involves a person you like then I,personally, would hate to have to always think what if. If you tell them how you feel you will eventually get over the hurt if they don't return the feelings I am sure. There are plenty of fish in the sea. Then again they could feel the same about you too. Then you'd reep the benefits.
