If you really want go for it. But being a full time mom can be more work then expected and the job gives you a break from that. When you look at when you come home from work being a mom is like a second shift job with no end. And also when you are at work your still on the mom clock because if the school/ babysitter calls because the child is sick there you go again, at work! You really have to do what you think is best for you.

I'm not much help on this as I'm not in Ireland. But one of the main things is being willing to cut back on your spending, and your childrens lifestyle and consumption of goods. Make sure you are willing to do that so you don't go totally bankrupt before you make this leap.
I think about the full time mom thing too, but my kids say with thier dad while I work. I often wish we good trade, but I have a great job .
Anyways, I wish you the best, children are precious, find quality time with them either way you go.

If you didn't have a partner you would get a lot more.
I would suggest going in but as you know the places are usually full of those returning to say thanks for the Lent collection.
