im doing a science fair project and im doing it about billiards.my question is does the angle of your pool cue effect your shot? and i need to know where to get this information about my question!

The angle of your pool cue does effect your shot in several ways. It's used as english in order to steer your cue ball. And whatever spin you put on the cue it causes just the opposite spin on the object ball. Both of this things cause the balls to curve from a little to alot depending on how much english you put on the cue.

The angle of the cue is not really the biggest factor, its where you hit the cue ball and the force that you put on it. You can put the same force and spin on a cue ball with multiple cue angles, it just that certain cue angles are more consistent and accurate.
