FENTANYL patches are clear patches with a gel like substance that is also clear on the sticky side of them. The size of the patch depends on the dose. 25mcg patches are the smallest dose and the smallest patch.
From 50mcg on up, the patch size, I believe stays the same.
The medication is time released over 72 hours, so they are good for 3 days.
They CAN irritate the skin. Cause itching, reddened areas to the skin, and possible burning of the skin over the site that it is applied.
