We want to get rid of the problem by using non toxic solutions. Have you ever heard of Beneficial Nematodes? Where can you get them? How do you use them? Any other ideas? Thanks, Laura

I have never heard of this but the best thing to use is frontline. It is in no way toxic to your pet even if it is injested. Also you may want to go to the vet and pick up a capstar pill. It's only like 5 dollars and will kill every flea on your pet for 24 hours. It cannot be used as a preventative like frontline tough. Also make sure if you decide to use frontline that you don't apply it two to three day before or after giving your pet a bath because it spreads through the natural oils in its skin.

We dipped our puppy/dog in a mixture of 2 parts water 1 part rubbing alcohol. The fleas just floated to the top of the tub...dead.
Keep the animal's head OUT of the water.
