My boyfriend and I broke up after 2 years. we both still have feelings for eachother. we both still have feelings for each other but we still have things we need to work on as "just friends". It's wierd because he still treats me kindly and the same way he did when we were together. i don't know what to do. my heart broke when he said we should break it off for now i don't know what to do. we both still have feelings for eachother, but should we work on the things that split us up as friends or should i break it off completely?

Well...If you both still have feelings after two years, it's obvious that the two of you have something special. I think you should definitely work on the things as "just friends"..then talk about getting back together. It sounds like the two of you had something wonderful, that you shouldn't just let go of. I know it's hard to forgive someone once they've broke your heart..But just try and give him a chance. Good luck girl, hang in there.

You have to wonder if he still has feelings for you why did he break up with you? There is alot of missing peices in this story. It is possible that after 2 years that he wants to pursue other relationships but, he is probably a little worried about not having that stability. I would suggest that the two of you talk about this stuff and either be together or not. I can tell you from experience that the "just freinds" thing after a long term relationship usualy doesn't work. It's very confusing and someone almost always ends up getting hurt more in the end than if you had just broken it off.

When you have been with someone for so long it is really hard to stay friends, if he still really likes you then listen to what he has to say and give him the room he wants but let him know how you feel. He he really likes you things will work out, relationships need work and love is like work, Love Is Like Work, Giving Up Is Failure But Working Hard Is Success, Just Takes Time And Commitment remember that always

I think you should work on the things that split you up in the first place, he seem s like a good guy. Even though it may be hard to try to work things out after you had your heart broken, it'll be worth it in the long run. (my ex broke my heart but were friends now, and I'm glad)

You should ask him why you couldn`t work on your problems when you were still dating; like, why did you need to break up to be able to fix whatever was wrong in the relationship. I think just the fact that he backed out and didn`t try to work on it shows that he isn`t ready. If you really care about him though, you should try to work out your problems.

He already let go, so you just need to end it all together, not even friends, it is hurting you having him in your life, so let go but tell him not to call you nor see you and that you need to move on since he doesn't want a commitment..cause if you don't let him go you will only be hurting yourself..

Step back and don't chase after him. Give him some time. If he loves you he'll start calling and coming around. And don't sit around waiting for him. Get out with friends and have fun.

Move on! don't let him keep bringing you down..the relationship will never come to a happy ending, many other great people out in the world. Give it time.
