He arranged the adoption of a baby girl for us way back in 1985 and we want to contact him and let him know how she is! she is now 22!! He got us this baby from Tampico, Mexico. I believe he is very involved with the Mormon Church.

It's pretty hard to locate a member of my faith after 22 years. Once upon a time, you could write a letter and send it to church HQ, and they'd try to locate the member. That practice stopped quite a while ago, probably because with 13 million members there'd be too many folks with the same name.
There are some web sites that help people locate their birth parents, and they might have stayed in touch with the person who arranged the adoption.
We adopted two brothers through LDS social services, and eventually (when the first child got married) we located the birth parents through non-church sources, and invited them to the wedding. Frankly, it wasn't that hard in our case.
