Where is the idol positioning sensor in a 2002 Ford Explorer? Thank you!?

if it's the idle control valve,it's on top of the throttle body/intake manifold. If you mean the throttle position sensor,it's on the side of the throttlebody.

The Idle Air Control Valve is under the top plastic cover on the 4.0 It has 2 bolts and one connector to it and is silver in color.
