I have always thought of this guy as a big brother, and now the kid has feelings for me. "Will" is like a big brother, I dont know what to do. I mean I had a crush on him when I was in Jr. High, but the feelings weren't mutual. Help!!

.if you have feelings for him than he shouldn't feel like a big brother to you. If you don't have feelings for him just talk to him about how you feel about the situation.

Hmmm.... if you truly view him as a big brother, then just tell him that you would rather just be big brother and little sister.
I remember when i was 14, my friend like me more than just a friend. But i just wanted to be friends. But the experience brought us closer and so now she is my big sis, and im her lil bro. It took her a while to get over me, i would say about 2 weeks after she told me. Im guessing it may be the same with him. good luck!

This can be so hard to deal with. You have to tell him exactly how you feel. It's unfortunate but sometimes you actually end up having to cut people off because of this. And that line is often crossed in male female relationships. Just tell him though and if he can handle that then go on with your friendship. If not then you might have to cut it off accordingly.

a lot of times this is how it works out when you are friends with a guy. I went thru this and they guy and i did hook up for a bit but we were much better as friends, we broke off our relationship because it felt to weird to be "together" when we were better as friends and we had a much better time. "no pressure to the perfect couple becaue everyone thought we should be."
im not sure if this helps youor not but i wish someone would have told me all this stuff.

Just wait it out. His crush will probably pass too. Stand by him, but if he really does anything you think makes you uncomfortable, make it very clean that you have no intentions of a relationship. But stand by him.

Be honest, it isn't worth losing the kid as a friend!? sounds like you've known him a while

Be honest. Tell him his friendship is more valuable to you and if you "hook up" and it doesn't work out you'll lose his friendship and blah, blah, blah....
