So she breaks up with me today, on the phone. I ask why and she rambles on some stuff about me not being a good listener or something...some junk, I don't really remember now..but I did all the right things...I took her to restaurants she liked, I took her to NFL football games that she likes. I fixed her bad credit problems. I held doors...all that stuff. Do girls like breaking your heart...do they enjoy giving pain?? I really liked her..now it's going to take me a few weeks to find a new girl friend..what a hassel

here's what i think of your situation:
it was nice what you did for her, but by saying "I ask why and she rambles on some stuff about me not being a good listener or something...some junk, I don't really remember now.." shows that you aren't a good listener. and most girls i know don't like to cause pain. and by saying it will take a few weeks to get a new one, shows that you obviously didn't like her enough to try and win her back, and it shows that you are shallow in the sense that you HAVE to have a gf, so you can show her off. you make love seems like a job by saying "what a hassel"

women want a man who is trustworthy. if you did anything to make her not trust her, that might have caused her to break up with you. if she said something about you not being a good listener, think back: what is her favorite color, have you helped her with emotional problems, does she have any pets? if you aren't sure about any of those questions, then there's your problem.
And no, not many women like to enflict emotional pain on their boyfriends, so there was probably a very good reason for her breaking up with her.

Don't be such a good guy...girls tend to like a Little bad boy in their men. Don't get me wrong everything you did was great, but don't make it so easy for her. Secondly, there is no hurry for a new girlfriend, take some time and enjoy the single life, it's great. So my advise is don't call her, if she wants you back let her call you,if not don't worry about it.

Women dont know what they want its been a question for a long time .She sounds to me that she has a pushover and when she geets knocked down by a new guy she will be back for you to help her feel great again move on find somone new before she comes back

You answered your own question. She says your not a good listener. You can't remember what she said in her call. Why? Because you aren't a good listener. Girls need someone who listens to them and takes them seriously. Good luck with your next girlfriend.

MAYBE she wanted you to listen.. which really seems to be a problem. All the "right" things are only worth it if he actually pays attention to you. I don't think she wants to break your heart.. and i hope it takes you a few weeks to learn your lesson...what a jerk!

Sounds like she wanted to be pampered while her bad credit got fixed. Now that, that is done, your no longer needed.
There is someone out there that deserves you, but you do have to go through the hassel. Good Luck!

well it seems to me like u werent a good listener because u cant even explain what she said to you..and ur claiming u now dont even remember. girls like it when guys listen and then have some say back. i guess she realized you just didnt want to listen. i mean maybe if u prove to her u can..she might change her mind. but from what i can see..u might just have to move on.

listen, women don't care about about that stuff like were you take them or if it's a really expensive place. woman don't care were they are as long as we're with you. we like it when you listen to us. it's about all the little things you do like holding our hands or a walk in the park together. your next relationship will last a lot longer if you just listen and do fun little things together.
