Well I want to major in Economics but there are 2 different degrees to choose from: a Bachelor in Science, a Bachelors in Arts, What is the difference between the 3 and which one should I get for the business purposes?

Generally, the BS will have more math and will focus on number crunching. If you are the type that likes to calculate to find numbers that represent productivity then a BS is for you. A BA will focus more on the non monetary aspects of economics. If you are concerned with how a war in the middle east affects gas prices in America then a BA is for you.

Either bachelor programs require a large (90+) number of college credits to be earned first. So, work on your associates degree first. After your first 2 years, you should have a better understanding of how the business of academia works and a better idea of which aspects of Economics you wish to per sue in your 3rd and 4Th year.

This is a question best put to the individual college or university you are applying to or attending. You will probably be asked what you plan to do after graduation. Your future plans affect the type of degree you seek.

get the bachelor's of science. it carries more oomph.
