what does it mean if a guy takes something of yours, in class and in a teasing way, but not mean?

It definitely means he likes you. But better yet, it means that he wants you to pursue him. By taking something of yours he wants you to try to come get it back. This will induce play, laughing, joking... Just try not to get in trouble so the teacher doesn't yell at you! :-) But if you like him, try to get it back in the same way he took it, not mean. That is, afterall, what he is trying to get you to do.
