I think everyone accept the idea that we create our own reality. My question is.

Why won't all take advantage and create heaven( if it does not exist) and think immortality( if you think it's over after death)?

i don't accept the idea that we create our own reality. I'm a strong believer in absolute truth, which is that if something is true or not true does not depend on wether i believe it to be so, or wether i even exist. I think more the point is that we all create our own perception of THE reality. their's only one truth, and we just perceive it.

also, heaven cannot be created by man, if heaven exists it is a place, as real as pittsburg, or berlin, and humans cannot create something that is real in the same way that God can, and the way we would need to to create something like heaven.

Well, if we were all in a universe we create ourselves that means that the person next to me also has this ability, and the next person and so on. if we were to believe that earth was heaven so we would all be in Heaven our ideas would contradict each other. So if I were to believe that we should all go to heaven while another person believes that only Christians should go to heaven we would contradict. And so that is proof that we do not live in our own realities because we would contradict each other and disappear in a big puff of imaginatively.

don't you think that if it was impossible to create a "heaven" we would have done it by now? and immortality? we can't even keep people from starving. why work towards immortality for such a screwed up world? and considering that not everyone believes in heaven or would want immortality, i'm sure it would raise many ethical issues.

This is the goal of the Christian faith to creat heaven on earth. Immortality (on earth) is less important, because death has lost its sting.

Why don't we just think up of a cure for AIDS and cancer?

You can't create your own reality, your own reality is already created.

let me tell you i believe that there is a hell, and we will spend alot of time there before any of us reach" the light of what is all true and faithful". Hell is not seeing god. not all the bull **** over time people want you to fear....sounds like you need to do some more reading so you can except your own personal relationship with your own type of spirituality / one more thing we have no control over the heavens out of our league

Unfortunately I don't think we can take the sole responsibility for our reality. Also, not everyones heaven is the same.

the way i see it we are who we want to be we believe what we want to. no one can stop us it is who we are. if their is no life after death then i am fine with that because i am having a great life but immortality is just a wish for some no one really knows if that is really what will happen

I don't know how you came to the conclusion that everyone believes that we create our own reality. Everyone perceives reallity through their own experiences. Noone is creating it. Reality is. We get to experience it and then we get to interpret it.
