saying on the break up, it is not about love, that he wants to be single, and after the break up to keep a friendship, pure friendship, trying helping me out as much as he can, when he had time. Even though he has been seing another girl. So MY QUESTION how is it possible for a man to see an ex like a friend and only a friend, in his eyes I could see attraction and it is like his logic, or decision for other reasons are stoping him right there, to stay away. Maybe because he may have plans returning to his homecountry in some years to pass, maybe because he felt trapped and was not ready for commitment. Though I strongly feel he has feelings, SO WHY IS HE SO STUBURN AND SAYS he only WANTs FRIENDS. IS it just a friends feeling?can this be possible when we had no real conficts, i didn't do things he would hate me or made him suffer and if so I believe he wouldn't even want to be a friend.SO GENTLEMEN, why would u be staburn? how to drop his guard down? is this a friendly feeling he has?

I can't get inside his head. I would once say it was not possible, but my last relationship has changed my opinion.

I really have strong feelings for my current gf. She is bright, witty, and she has some issues. She can be affectionate, but not as much as I would like. We have been dating for abut 2 years and I don't see the relationship changing more to what I would be happy with. I would still be friends with her, even though my feelings are not as strong as they once were. I am not going to try to coerce her to change her ways to my benefit, because to change her into something she is not would make her unhappy. If may next girlfriend does not understand the relationship, then I would change for the new girlfriend. There comes a time when you know you need to move on because it isn't going to work. Just because you are not having screaming fights every night does not mean he was happy. If he has decided he needs to move on, then that is the best decision for him. If he wants to remain friends, then obviously it wasn't anything you did that was the problem and he would still rather have you in his life, than totally out of it.

He got bored with you. Plain and simple. Sorry for not sugar-coating it, but that's the plain, brutal truth. After being away from you for a while he may want to be with you again, like going back to play an old video game, but he'll get bored again, quicker than the first time.

Try to control your genetalia. At least briefly.

Why else would you be pressuring a man for something he does not want to give you? Or trick him to 'drop his guard'?! He has told you what he wants, now either obey like a good woman or understand that he is probably not interested because of your demonstrated inability to follow simple instructions.

Why can't he just want to be friends. I should have stayed friends with my ex-hubby we were much better friends than lovers. As were my mother and father. Some people make great friends but aren't ment to be together, it just seems odd because he is of the opposite sex. Sometimes being friends has more benifits then being lovers... just be careful what you wish for.

That's why dating is wrong and should be avoided. It only breeds ill feelings after the breakup.
Courtship is a much better way with no physical contact past holding hands until the wedding night.

He doesn't want you as his girlfriend. He has decided you and he are not a good couple...it just doesn't work for him. Accept it and move on. Harassing him won't make him love you.
