my ex boyfriends brother as rang me to see if i want to go out for lunch he his gay so its ok on that front, but me and my ex parted on bad terms and im not sure what i should say to his brother, what should i do ???

There is no reason why you shouldn't stay friends with your ex's brother. It wasn't him you broke up from. Go have dinner have a laugh and a giggle and stop worrying what others think, it is YOUR life, lead it as YOU see fit.

Go for lunch and if/ when the subject comes up just say that your friendship with him has nothing to do with you and your ex. To a certain extent he must know that otherwise he would not be asking you to meet him unless your ex wants to tell you something through him

live your life, whatever happen between you and your ex has nothing to do with his brother. so give it a chance maybe you and him could be really good friends. and who knows maybe you could talk to you ex and get on better terms even if ya'll dont want to date.

You could ask him 'Why he wants to see you.' And you could always state your reasons for why this may not be a good idea ...though give leeway for a change of mind if the brother gives a good enough reason to meet.
