check your place of employment, many have counseling services free of charge to employees, or check with a local college or university which will offer counseling services to students for free or a reduced rate, you see a student pyschologist but they are in their last round of training. Hope that helps!

There are many social service agencies in both the states that you have mentioned. Check out the yellow pages and try some places. Even some hospital have counselors who provide free or almost free services. I'm sure you will find help even if you don't have medical insurance. Good luck.

Our clinic in colorad is mostly public funded, such as a community health center. We will put our clients with no insurance on a sliding fee scale which equals about 3.85 a session. If meds are needed, drug companies have patient assistance programs that will supply meds free of charge. All you would need to be on a sliding fee scale would be a couple of Pay stubs.

Most psychiatry residents take part in programs where they treat people for free as a service to the community.

Call the medical college in your area and ask them about it..

Sometimes a therapist will have a sliding pay scale based on your ability to pay. Call several and and ask to see who would be willing to help.
