If there is an excessive amount of white smoke coming out the car's exhaust, it means water is getting into the combustion chamber. Typically there are three possible causes, none of which are cheap.
1. Cracked or damaged head gasket. Can be repaired, but not cheap.
2. Cracked or warped head. Head can be replaced. Again typically not cheap.
3. Cracked block. Car's engine is pretty much toast.
If it's not a large amount of white smoke, white smoke will typically leave the exhaust and if it's cold outside condense very quickly and you will see white smoke. A small amount of white smoke on a cold day is normal.

All cars do this on cold mornings when they first get driven for the day. After the condensation in the muffler steams out, no more white puffy. Since you had to replace the radiator, I'm guessing you had an overheat. There is chance of a warped head or a cracked head or just a bad head gasket. It depends on how long the car was driven during the crisis. Since there's no emulsion in the oil, keep an eye on the coolant level to make sure you arent losing it . If you need to refill the radiator a few times a week, you've got trouble. You can give a whole lotta money to a mechanic to fix it. You can try a good block sealer ( I hate Bars Leaks- it rarely works and ruins the radiator). and trust your luck . It might be ok after that or it imght get worse over time. Wait and see.

It's a Ford. Trade it in after the repairs because the problem will keep on happening. White smoke is evaporated coolant that has passed through the exhaust. The reason, blown head gasket, bad valves, broken cylinder liners if it has some, cracked cylinder heads. Trade it in for a newer model Ford or comparable vehicle. Good luck. I hope you don't have to pay a bundle to get it fixed.

White smoke occurs mainly during cold starts. the smoke usually consists of condensed fuel particles. The cold engine parts cause the fuel to condense into a liquid, which will not burn. the most common reasons for white exhaust smoke are low engine compression, thermostat stuck open, bad ingector spray pattern, late injection timing, and cold start (injection pump) problems. Can also be caused by coolant leakage into the combustion chamb. poss. indicating a leaking head gasket, crecked cylinder head, or cracked block.

Sounds like a head-gasket job. That white smoke can mean at its worst stage antifreeze mixing in with your motor oil. Here's how to test it. Run your car for to city blocks, Find a safe place to park. open the hood and locate the oil dip-stick. Get Ready..... If you see a creamy whitish brown you blew a head gasket. Expensive to fix. Sounds like the fuel to air mixture is two lean. If your car is carberated any back yard mechanic should be able to richen the mixture with some small adjustments. If it is fuel injected, there may be problems with the fuel rail or an 0xygen sensors.
Is your "check engine light on" once you fix that problem you might want to change the plugs

IF IT ONLY DOES THIS IS THE COLD MORNING'S ,THAN NO PROBLEM , IF IT DOES THIS ALL DAY TAKE IT TO A MECH AND HAVE THEM CHECK IT OUT. KEEP CLOSE EYE ON WATER LEVELS AND CHECK OIL FOR MILKY WHITE DEPOISTS ON OIL STICK DO NOT OPEN THE RAD TILL IT COOLS OFF AND CHECK AT THAT POINT=IF WATER IS LOW THIS WILL TELL YOU ITS GETTING OUT SOME WHERE AND MAYBE IN THE CYL. == P.S. IF THE ENGINEE HAS A MISS FIRE FROM WATER GETTING INTO A CYL DO NOT LET IT SIT AND THEN TRY AND RESTART ,AS THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF RODS BENT TURNING A ENGIN OVER WITH WATER IN ONE CYL==IF YOU HAVE THE KNOW HOW PULL THE PLUGS AND CHECK FOR WATER ON THE PLUGS ==WITH ALL THE PLUGS OUT YOU CAN TURN OVER AND HAVE SOME ONE WATCH FOR WATER COMING OUT OF CYL BEFORE STARTING BEST WISHES JFB

It sounds like you might have blown your head gasket on your engine or your car might be running a little bit rich (bad air fuel ratio) If your head gasket is blown, there is no quick fix. You need 2 take it into your local mechanic and have it fixed. hope this helps, good luck

Well, if it has a sweet smell as I call it, it's anti-freeze getting in your combustion chamber somehow(needs attention NOW!!!). Now if it's odorless and you have no performance problems, it just could be condensation in your exhaust system. It's created by the heating & cooling of the exhaust.

check your oil if there is white stuff in there it is the head gasket if that isnt it check your fluids and see if you are low if the water is low then you are still looking at the head and will soon start getting in the oil my advice is look for a new motor or someone that knows how to fix it
