Cant find a Florida Criminal History on-line for free.

What you need to do is to contact the FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement) and they will explain to you how to obtain an official criminal history record.

Beware of these on-line sites. The often get you to pay, and then you obtain a brief over view of states with a history on that person and they you must pay to get the records from each state as well. Or, many time they are a referral service. You will pay to be told that yes there is a criminal history and then receive information on how to obtain those records from the state where they exist.

Most of the records are confidential anyway. In GA you have to have a valid reason for looking up a Criminal History. Even as a police officer, you can not randomly look up peoples criminal history without a proper reason. If you do, and get caught, you can be fired and possibly prosecuted criminally. The pay websites depend on public records, not a check of the criminal record through a state crime information computer.

Hello, I am a retired Police Officer here in the US and I can confirm to you that these types of records, for the most part, are not available to the general public. You won't be able to obtain them for free. That's the reality of it. Even if you came into the station for a particular police report to which you have a right to possess, you are often required to pay a small fee at the clerk's counter for the paperwork. There are however, to my knowledge, just a couple LEGITIMATE services that have full access to these types of records, and OFFICIAL approval/certification to provide them. The one which comes to mind is http://www.echeck.pcti-system.com - and if I recall correctly, They do provide these records at a relatively small cost.. especially considering the highly personal, confidential, or otherwise sensitive nature of the information within. Here you will find things such as:

Reverse Phone Search
Criminal Records
Inmate Records
Sex Offenders
DUI/DWI Records
Court Records
Arrest Records
Warrant Records
Police Records
Address History
Death Index
Marital Status
Relatives and Associates
Property Records
Felonies and Convictions
Alias and Date of Birth
Business Search

The only other way to obtain this type of information is to be working in certain areas of the public sector, such as Police work. Please do not use this any information you may discover for malicious purpose, as many States do provide criminal penalties under statutory law for certain acts regarding invasion of privacy. Hope this helps.

There is not anyway that you can obtain a criminal record on line and for free. Usually you would have to contact the criminal records division in the state that you are in (Florida) and they will give you a criminal records release form. You cousin would have to fill that out, sign it, and have it notarized. One a small fee is paid you would be able to get a full copy of the criminal record.

I used that website http://www.echeck.pcti-system.com .. the one referenced by that detective guy. I found exactly what I was looking for. So much for Mr Right, or rather Mr Convicted Felon with 2 Liens against him totaling over 30,000$ and an ex-wife I never knew about!! Thank God I found out the truth before it was too late. We were almost engaged!!

You can access it .. but not for free - Remember that even the convicted have rights and there will always be companies out there that are looking to cash in on anything.
