It is better to dump than be dumped. You can be in an awful relationship, know you want out, actually hate the other person and have dozens of reason why you are going to terminate it--but if they beat you to the punch, it's awful. I guess it is our inherent competitive nature of never wanting to lose or be the loser.
You must of had an inkling that things were going downhill so are you mad they did it to you or are you sad it ended?
My theory is never go backwards, always move forward to bigger and better things. Take all the very best attributes from every single person you've ever had a relationship with, roll them all together, set that as your standard and start looking for that person. Enjoy the search and remember it's going to take a while. You may not find the absolute perfect person but atleast you've set a mental goal that'll help guide your decision-making process.
Mad or sad? You weren't planning to marry this person were you? You were just dating. Shake it off and move on. Next week you could meet someone new, who is funny and and a decent piano player (?) and look back at this post and think: Who cares! That's ancient history! Don't get super serious unless you plan on marriage.
Good hunting.

At first ur probably going 2 b mad and the wen reality hits u probably sad not that ur alone but theres no right or wrong answer just allow urself 2 feel what u feel. By the way hopefully everything will work out fine 4 u just give it sun time and hang in there. Someone else is out there who's right 4 u.

I get Mad, seriously mad, but in case there are a few reasons because of which she may dump me, I dont become mad , but just a bit sad. It all depends on the reasons for the dump as well as ur security level.

You feel mad at first then you feel sad.
The sadness sucks becasue you start to blame yourself for getting dumped. But don't worry about it. Surround yourself with friends and people who love you and the sadness will go away.

hmm... depends on WHY you were dumped. You might feel angry if it was in a mean way or they person had lied to you, etc...
If it was just a normal peaceful break up, then I guess you just feel sad for a while. Until you get over them or meet someone new

Good Luck and I'm sorry to hear about your break up.

Mad, Sad and Glad. The glad is the last thing your probably thinking but go with it, check out the other possibilities, then watch what happens to the sad and mad.

I depends on the situation; how I was dumped, who dumped me, etc. If I really liked the guy, I`m generally really sad... but if I wasn`t like, REALLY into him, I get more angry than anything. And when a guy makes up excuses, I get really angry.

Don't be mad and don't be sad. It's part of life. Just tell youself they're the idiots because you were the best thing that ever happened to them and then you can feel sorry for them if nothing else.

It depends now days, I figure oh well, its always other fishes in the pond to hook up with. Being mad doesnt do much since you cant control the other persons discisions. Okay to be sad about it thou, but dont dwell too long on it because thier other things in life to attend too.

A mixture of both, upset that the relatoinship is over and mad at them for dumping you and mad at your self for wasting your time with that person.
