See I was a bad ***, an orignal bad doer, now I've been taking anger Mgt classes and alcohol classes, through an court order deal for me not receiving anymore jail time. But lately I've been really Dr. Philish, giving advice to friends, and FAmily. And being good. But I need to know? Is there a way of being good while thinking bad?

Remember that "thoughts" are just "thoughts" - as long as you don't act on them, making them "facts", don't get yourself in a circular issue. I have 21 yrs in a 12-Step Program, plus a PhD in Clinical Psych and I can tell you from my experience personally and those of others that you can think like Al Capone as long as you don't carry it out.

Thinking bad never got anyone in trouble. Its walking the fine line between thinking a bad thought and acting on that thought that makes the difference between being a good person or a bad one. Hopefully after you have practicing good behavior and ignoring bad thoughts, it will become natural and the bad thoughts won't trouble you so much.

the key to that is, your mind is still detoxing from all of the bad things, although you may still think obout them, everyone thinks about doing bad things but just do not do them. you are perfectly normal right now.
