Purchase some Blue Scotch (or compatible) 14 day release tape and a tube of good "painters" caulk. If it is a smooth wall and ceiling, paint the walls first allowing a little on the ceiling (this will be masked off later). Let the walls dry (2 coats longer time)..I'd say 24 hours til the paint cures some. Then you mask off the wall meeting the ceiling (i just eyeball it close to ceiling) and mask the perimeter of the walls. Then you cut a tiny hole in your caulk tube so the caulk comes out the size of a real thin bead. You can put the tube of caulk in warm water before to help it flow out better when you apply it. After it's taped you then caulk the perimeter of the room using your finger to wipe off excess caulk. Carry a damp rag with you also to keep fingers clean. Do this several feet at a time til it's all caulked. Start trimming out the ceiling with the paint (2 coats more time). The sooner the tape is released the better results. It will leave a perfect line every time. Just practice on a small area...if you must, because it can always be painted over. BTW, the caulk applied in a small bead prevents the paint from seeping through any small gaps from masking.

I watched my uncle paint my room use one of those laser thingys he traced it then put tape along the lines after that he just peeled it out gently (not to fast either because then it may take some paint with it) and after a while but not too long where the paint is completely dry because then its way harder to peel the tape

I think it's called painter's tape or you could use masking tape, just put it on before you paint & remove when paint is dry.

You can use special painters tape (green). Paint your base colour, let it dry, apply the tape over it then paint your second colour.
