what do you mean how can we help raise those children??? if they have ONE PARENT then that child will come out fine. as long as that PARENT is strong. i was raised with 2 bros and my mom was single *got married recently* she is a strong woman. never talked bad about dad, and we all grew up just as strong if not stronger then she is. i think when you look at kids with one parent and feel sorry for them, that kid feeds off of it, and uses it as an excuse to do bad things when they grow up. anyways thats just how i feel. rate me a bad answer if you want. but you know im tellin the truth lol.

love jen.

Be a good friend. Take time to take time. Get to know them. Listen without prejudice. Kids without two parents are equally likely for success as long as they are loved without judgement. Help the child's remaining parent with errands and sitting. A happy, calm parent is a great gift to a child.

Help the parent who is there as much as possible with anything you can
because then that parent can be there as much as possible for their child and take care of them and they can have a parent around asap all the time.
Definitely just HELP the other parent, do NOT take the child away...
offer to baby sit, take the child. . . blablabla because it is not good for the child to have all of these different influences around OTHER than the parents.
This is just my opinion you can take it with a grain of salt if you want but this is is what I firmly believe.

If you are saying this as a how can I help the parent then lend your time and your ear for their troubles. If you're saying the child is horribly underprivileged to have only one parent...then you can stuff it. It's better to have one parent who loves you beyond reason than two where one of them resents your existence.

children who have one parents are not necessarily worse off than those that have two. i know plenty of people that shouldn't be together and fight constantly, but decided to stay together for the kids. who's better off? the one parent household or the two parent household where the beat the crap out of each other.

just because a child doesnt have both parents (for whatever reason) does not mean he/she will have a bad childhood or grow up into a bad adult

one good parent is better then two bad ones!

By commiting our time to listen to them without judging and being good role models. Also by standing up for them when they're educational oppurtunites are cut because they have no voice.

Be a good neighbor/coworker and volunteer to help out a single mom. It takes a village.

I choose not to procreate. However I would help those less fortunate.
