Me and my boyfriend met because he's a friend of my Aunt and Uncle's that I live with. My Aunt didn't want to talk to him one night and she made me talk to him on the phone and we've been talking ever since and now we've both fallen in love with each other, that's what we believe anyway. Does anyone else think that can happen? Is it even possible? what do u say people give me some answers! LOL

It's crazy but this guy I use to talk to told me he fell in love with his girlfriend that he met online and they only talked on the phone and they had never met. I was like whatever.

Well Abigail I think you might be pushing the envelope a little by saying that you have fallen in love on the phone. Myself, I believe that you probably find each other very interesting and even mysterious. But without having met each other and gotten to know each other very well personally it is impossible to state that your in love. Funny how things work out though eh, and I do hope that you are able to met and learn of each other, the good and the bad, and that someday you can honestly say that you have fallen in love with one and other. I met my fiance on line and the last thing I was looking for was a loving relationship, especially with someone 2.5 hours away. But Karma has a way of evening all of lives problems out and sometimes putting people in our lives for a reason. We did not fall in love on line, as this is also an impossibility but have spent many wonderful weekends together over the past 3 years and will be wed next May. Sorry for sounding so realistic but that is the way I see it.

Sometimes you meet someone and you can tell they're special. Even just instant messaging two people can see the unique chemistry they share. I don't know if you think it should just be ignored or if contact should be broken. Frankly, I have no clue what should be done when someone meets a person that they want to be with, but are separated by 700 miles. There is virtually no chance of things turning out well, yet it feels as if nothing can stand in your way. I think a lot of times it is easier to fall in love online because showing your true self is simple. There is lesser fear of what people may think because you know nothing about them. You can put any face you want to them. If some random guy insults me, I could shrug it off because we don't even know each other. However if you were to insult me I would take it much more personally because i know what you are like, have seen your face, and I respect you. There is lesser pressure getting to know someone because you can get up and walk away any time, but when you fall in love you never want to leave. Falling in love is the easiest thing in the world, but the real question is how to answer the miles of impossible questions that follow.

No. You might have a loving relationship in conversation, but you have no idea what the chemical reaction will be when you are in physical proximity to each other. You may very well have a chance though since you probably know each other very well and share the same likes and opinions. Good luck!

You are not in love. You are only infatuated. You like what you are hearing. Seeing is believing. You must be young because I used to fall in love just as quick as I fell out of love... If the guy is right for you then he should go to your town and visit you on your terms. I hope that this is not an infatuation for your hearts sake. Good luck with this.

Yeah, you can fall in love BUT its not the same as being with someone down the street. Long distance relationships can hide a lot of things close up ones can't.

Pretty unlikely. Meeting face to face is while different experience, and the person you thought you knew might not be what he appeared.
