kisses mean different things to different people...to me a kiss is a prelude to whats coming next...its full of promise and expression...and something you can feel another persons energy from...whether its your mum or your lover...no matter what type of kiss... but on the other hand my ex husband would rarely kiss me unless we were having sex, so god knows what it meant to him,lol......what does a kiss mean to you???

Everyone is going to have different perspectives on it. Depending on how you were brought up, whether you are a guy or a girl. The one thing that my old man told me when I was young, is that you save kisses for the one's that you really care about. You wait for the one's that mean something, but that's your choice to make whether it's worth a kiss. A kiss will tell you alot about someone, whether they are controling or passive. Whether they are shy or aggressive.

To me, a kiss is a show of affection, intimacy, acknowledgement and acceptance. It brings the presence into focus and makes me not to agonise about yesterday nor worry about tomorrow as I will be enjoying the moment. Kissing can reveal what's coming next whether it's going to be good or not. So kissing means so much to me and when passion hits its lowest, few people kiss. Kissing is a way of showing that a relationship is still ongoing.

To me a kiss means everything. Like you, i had an ex who did not kiss..well...he kissed me 4 times in 2 years and thats including the intimate times we were together!....
I love to kiss, you can sense so much from a kiss.
I really liked a guy once and when he kissed me it was not a good experience. He is now a friend and will never be anything more.

A kiss from a women is a lot more important and magical to me than having sex. To me it's my way of telling a women that I either am starting to like you with a small peck or I love you with an open kiss. A kiss from a mother is like saying mom I love and appreciate everything you do for me, and that I care enough to want to help her out with anything I can.

To me a kiss on the forehead just because means I care about you and I like those. A peck on the lips when me and my lover depart from one another means I can't wait to see you later and have a nice day. A passionate french kiss means I want you and it'll lead to other things. This is my perception of these different kisses. My favorite one is the kiss on the forehead:)

A kiss to me means total surrender to the beloved. A kiss means THIS moment is totally cool, there is no other moment. And then it's gone and you are left only with the longing, the desire, which cannot be re-captured at the moment. And so we wait for the morrow, when that "unruly sun" will wake us and we rise with the sun in our eyes and leave yesterday behind...and kiss again, just for this moment...

A kiss with family/friends on the cheek etc..sign of love and caring...
with a lover...the kiss tells it all...it holds the key to passion and intimacy.
If the kiss isn't good..it's over......
it's almost more of an intimate moment then making love.

i think a kiss expresses your love towards someone. I kiss my boyfriend about a 100 times a day because i love him soo much and he makes me soo happy so i actually dont know, hard too describe as is love!
