In this day and age being single has benefits, no one to answer too much, and options to hang out with friends. It depends on the age of the person too if your young better off being single because people chage a lot from age 19 to 25. I figure its easier to know what your dealing with as you get older because you know your likes and dislikes about a person. Single, drawbacks may be loneliness, but some people dont mind that much, while others go crazy. Single. is good if your patient in looking for a mate if a rushs then you end up in worse shape than being single.

Nothing at all wrong with being single. However, you might want to think about your future and how you would feel as an elderly person. You may not feel loneliness is as important as when you were younger.

Not only is it OK, it's necessary. Why bother dealing with all the negativity of a relationship when you can spend your time getting what YOU want instead? I prefer independence over couplehood.

Of course it's okay. Why do people think everyone HAS to be in a relationship? I hate that assumption. To me, it means that people who think that way are also insecure, and can't hack it alone.
