I told my close female friend how I felt. I also asked her if she FELT anything towards me at all, ever.If I misread the signs. She replied:
"I never feel nothing for anybody and every individual means something to me in their own unique way.Thats all I'm going to say". MEANING???
If she didn't like me in that way, WHY wouldn't she just say so???I asked her to be blunt and that I wouldn't hate her for her reply.
Help!!!Advice!!!

Shes putting up a defence barrier. If she doesnt commit to an answer shs scared of being hurt. If she lets her guard down she risks not being in control of the situation. think she likes you and shes scared ..............make sense?

you asked for bluntness and you got it. now you know she doesn't care for you in the way you do for her. maybe shes incapable of loving another person, and she knows it.

It sounds like she is saying she just likes you as a friend and didn't want to be blunt as it might hurt your feelings. That is a very strange way to say it though if that is what she meant. I would just leave it if I was you, you have asked her once and that is the reply she gave. If she really liked you in that way then she would have said surely?!

Hmm I think that that could be her polite way of saying that although she doesn't have romantic feelings for you, she likes you because you are her friend and that is all she is going to say on the matter. I think that you probably did mis-read the signs and if i were yo I'd just let the situation lie, don't mention it again

Think about the obvious answer but she is so wrapped in herself and her own problems that she doesnt even encompass your feelings by delivering an answer. That is just so selfish, if you are providing an honest answer to a friend and they dont provide an honest answer then they have no respect and you should leave her to dramatise her own life to anyone else whos willing to listen. Dont waste your time with her at all

Well you could intepret this answer in different ways.
Maybe she is not being truthful in her response. Maybe she feels something but does not want to say as you have been friends for a while and she does not want to spoil anything.
If you have started your relationship as friends then it is awkward to being lovers.
I am speaking from experience and it is difficult, infact maybe you could answer me the same thing being a guy.
Best thing to do is ask outright.
Maybe she feels insecure in being open

if she's one of your close friends then i can see why she wouldnt want to say something to ruin your friendship. sometimes it may be awkward for two close friends to have more then "friend" feelings toward eachother. i think right now its best for you and her to be just friends. maybe, in the future something could happen. because i know that usually close friends are usually the people that you can find yourself having a relationship with. hope some of that helped :)

Maybe she just likes you as a friend and nothing more but sometimes they won't tell you the truth because they know what their going to say might hurt your feelings, and what she said might of been her way of telling you that she just likes you as a friend.
