It is safe, reliable, and reasonably priced
It can produce large amounts of power any time it is needed
It produces little waste, which can be safely stored if we have the political will
Uranium is readily available in large quantity and is not under the control of people who want to kill us or control its availability to us

Nuclear energy provides energy more cleanly and more safely than any other energy source. People cite solar and wind energy but they always leave production and maintenance costs and the associated pollutants out of their claims. The truth is that nuclear power is cheaper, safer and less damaging to the environment than any other power source.

The only pro is it is cost effective for producing energy.. and is useful in medicine for some illnesses..

Apart from that.. there is nothing good about it..

If we stop demanding luxuries we would never need nuke power because most power is used by large industry producing things.. not private consumers.. and most private consumers would be happy to have a fireplace anyway.. burn all the junk mail they keep stuffing in my post box..

current plants have triple safety backups
