Dreams never mean as they appear to you in your sleep. They input strong symbols in your mind so you will remember them. Here is an interpretation of what it means, you will have to figure out how it relates to your life, and once you can work on this problem you will not dream about it anymore.

To see your own jaw in your dream, represents your stubbornness, determination and forcefulness. You may need to have more willpower and fortitude in some situation. To dream that your jaws are tight, indicates unexpressed angers and other powerful feelings which you are holding back.

To dream that you break or dislocated your jaw, suggests that you are compromising your own beliefs.

Usually when you have a dream about your Jaw it represents your strength to stop anyone getting into you - through your mouth. Your power to hold onto emotions - by clenching your teeth. The jaw can also represent being swallowed up - in other words a fear of losing your identity or will. Having it broken could signify your fear of loosing a sense of control, typically in relationships.

I would say that it is an omen. I think your psychological mind is dreaming up something that is about to happen or will happen. Note this does not mean your jaw will be broken. It could be a symbol for something else.

This is just you grinding your teeth and your brain can tell that you are doing this and sends these mixed up messages to your subconcious mind. You could try getting these mouth guard type things. Sorry I don't know what their called but people wear them when they grind their teeth at night. Ask your doctor, they should know.
