Okay so I have a boyfriend in the army who like hates his job. So he already said he didn't want a gift that had something to do with the army and.or his job or whatever. He likes hunting and fishing, he's from alabama and likes crimson tide football team. Except I'm trying to find something original for him from me cause he's getting me a ring [YAY!] and I just wanted to find a cool gift for him. If I have to spend a little extra, that's fine. thanks a lot.happy holidays

Here are some of my fav's

Digitial photframe or Ipod preloaded with songs/pictures

a CD of favorite love songs (did this for my tenth anniversary and wrapped in aluminum foil since it was the tin year, husband keeps it in the truck)

goodie basket. Recipients favorites homeade food - or candies and microwave popcorn, hot chocolate and a movie

Magazine subscription or book

A picnic basket loaded and ready to go for a drive. (CD, food & drinks, blanket)

MyPublisher photo book - online service to print professional bound book - very cool - a little expensive

Tickets to a concert, game or special event near the holiday

Nice digital camera - I just got a Canon S3 powershot with great controls and feel ($3oo on sale). less can get you a decent camera for point and shoot. Would love the Rebel or upper level nikkon but too $$$

season passes to the theater or sport you guys like

- also gotta say the person with the idea to send him off with a friend rocks, I love that idea for my husband, but I've had him 10 years now, I think I'd have gone with him years ago.

Get him the best tickets you can for a football game.....for him and one of his buddies. Make it clear you are not going. Works like a charm.....he will think you are the Queen!
