No one knows, except for God. The bible states this as well.

We can only guess. Some people can make educated guesses, based upon their interpretation of the bible, as far as the clues the bible gives as to when the end of the world is close.

I am definitely not a super educated person of the bible, but I do know that it says there will be many dramatic weather changes, much sickness, and much evil in the world when either the 2nd Christ's coming is close or the end of the world is close.

Personally, I am not sure the end of the world is close at this time. However, I do believe that "something very religious" will happen before too long (too long being within 100 years, I believe). It could actually be Christ's 2nd coming. I just don't know, and no one knows. I believe there will be a whole lot more severe weather happenings will occur, and the people on earth overall will get more insane and more evil than they are now.

I very well think it could be some sort if miracle that will occur before too long.

Read the last chapter of the bible, and let me know what you think!

About 4-5 billion years it will enter a red giant phase, its outer layers expanding as the hydrogen fuel in the core is consumed and the core contracts and heats up. Helium fusion will begin when the core temperature reaches about 3×108 K. While it is likely that the expansion of the outer layers of the Sun will reach the current position of Earth's orbit, recent research suggests that mass lost from the Sun earlier in its red giant phase will cause the Earth's orbit to move further out, preventing it from being engulfed. However, Earth's water and most of the atmosphere will be boiled away. and the Christian god will have nothing to do with it.

First, I don't know. Second, I don't care because it is highly unlikely to happen in our life-time. Third, I'm amazed you haven't been inundated by Jehovah's Witnesses telling you that the date for Armageddon has changed (yet again) and everyone who isn't a JW will perish.

Finally, so you don't think I'm being entirely flippant, I believe that there will be a new heaven and a new earth but it's not up to us (nor even the angels) to know the date. Sufficient for us to get on with our lives now and trust God to work it all out for good.

I think for all of us the world will end with our deaths. When you die, you are no longer part of the world, so technically it had ended for you!
As for the actual world ending, why worry about something you can't do anything about?

it will cease to exist as we know it when we have the next pole shift. by the way, the flipping of the polar ice caps and moving of continents occurs like clockwork every 50,000 years or so.

it may end if we have alien contact and humans are too stupid to accept the end of faith and massive religious invalidation that will occur (the failure of humans and their pathetic reactions during the 1938 reading of the 'war of the worlds' is a testament to our stupidity)

or some north korean leader just might have a bad day and decide to launch a nuke. I would prefer a pole shift to be quite honest.

In about 4.2 billion years, when our sun runs out of hydrogen fuel to fuse at its core, starts fusing helium instead, and expands in size to become a red giant star. At that time, the hot outer envelope of the sun will extend nearly to earth's orbit, and this planet and everything on it will be cooked to a crisp very quickly.

There is no evidence of any kind of any sort of "end" before that time, although it's possible (but unlikely) that we could collide with another solar system object massive enough to destroy our planet before then...

It will end when it ends and, until then, we shouldn't worry ourselves about it.

I, personally, am just hoping it ends before I retire as I will only have enough money to afford living under a bridge with a pet rat if things continue on the way they are now.

In a few billion years the sun will swell becoming a red giant and absorb all of the inner planets. The world will end then.

No one know when the world will end. The Lord Jesus said only the Father in heaven knew that day.

No one knows except God.

Matthew 24:36
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Mark 13:32
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father
