please can you name foods, dishes, deserts, jams etc that are traditionally British. thanks
ps are they made using British produce.

Breakfast: Kippers, Kedgeree, Egg and Bacon, Black pudding and White pudding, Haggis, Devilled kidneys, Bubble & Squeak, crumpets, porridge, toast and marmalade or marmite or strawberry jam.

Soups: Culleen Skink, Pea and Ham, ****-a-leekie, scotch broth, leek and potato.

Main courses: Toad in the hole, Shepherd's pie, Steak and kidney pudding, liver and bacon with onions and gravy, beef stew and dumplings, Roast beef with yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings, fisherman's pie, fish & chips & mushy peas, beef cobbler, game pie, cauliflower cheese. Cornish Pasties.

Puddings: Roly poly pudding and custard (add 'and custard' to most of the following actually!) spotted dick, treacle pudding, rice pudding, rhubarb crumble, gooseberry crumble, apple pie, apple upside-down cake, Queen of Puddings, Eton Mess, Bread and Butter pudding, Bread pudding, Eve's pudding, Summer pudding, bakewell tart.

Fish and Chips, Bangers and Mash and also Toad in the Hole. Welsh Rarebit, Crumpets, Scones with strawberry jam and cream. Balti and rice (balti being a british indian dish developed in Birmingham)

Wild strawberry and damson jam, over hot buttered fire browned crumpets.....

Haggis, blackpuddings, chitterlings, tripe, Melton Mowbrey pork pies, regional cheeses, Cumberland sausages, goodness me the list goes on and on.
Best of all though is free range eggs and home grown potatoes, egg and chips. Mmmmmmmmm.
