Is there a place i can plug in my information for 2006 and estimate my return? (free)

H & R Block has a tax estimator calculator on their website. go to www.hrblock.com and click on the Calculators tab. It's free to use.

Prepare a mock tax return based upon your current estimates. That should give you an idea of how your 2006 tax return will be.

Use these forms to fill out what you expect year end data to be and calculate tax for yourself. The IRS has a way of "estimating taxes" for making payments when you don't have withholding, but I don't think that is what you are talking about

Federal Income taxes is generally 15%.........So take your pay stub and figure 15% of your gross income less what you've paid in already
