IF it looks like foam ,than my dogs do it when they have eaten something that irritates their stomach or on the flip side one of my dogs does it when he goes to long between meals. You only have to worry if goes on for more than a hour or so . or you think they have eaten something that might be poisonous, look around where your dog has been to see if you can find any thing it may have gotten. IF they eat and drink normal that is a good sign but it may take awhile for their stomach to feel well enough to eat, but if it gets worse over the next half hour please call your vet and tell them the problem they may be able to tell you what to do.

It could have been just something he ate not agreeing with him. If he's just throwing up but acting, eating, and drinking normally, give him a little pepto and keep a close eye on him.
If he isn't eating or drinking or gets worse or doesn't seem to be getting any better then you need to take him to a vet. Some vets will let you do a payment plan where you pay so much a month if you don't have the money right then. But it shouldn't cost much at all to just have him checked out, I'm thinking $30 at the most.

Your dog may just have an upset stomach, a lot of dogs who dry heeve will excrete white foam or liquid. But it is always a good thing to keep a watchful eye on him. If he isn't drinking a lot of water or any at all you may give him childrens pedialyte, and I wouldn't reccomend letting him eat, let his system get rid of whatever is in it before eating. Check his eye's and make sure they are responsive, he could have gotten into a solvent or chemical like pesticide or even window washing fluid which tastes sweet to all animals and is deadly if ingested.

But I do reccomend taking him to the vet, some vet clinics offer a bill paying system if you cannot afford it off hand, but make sure you ask when you call just to make sure.

If you dog has gotten into something please bring the container to the vet so they can assess how much he has ingested and what the prognosis is.

My dogs go outside and eat grass, then they throw it up along with white foamy stuff. Is it possible she's been eating grass? Dogs do it a lot. I adopted both of my dogs from the pound and both have had kennel cough more than once. I didn't take them to the vet. They just coughed a lot and had a runny nose and then it went away.

Hi, it sounds to me like your dog has an upset stomach. Did she eat something like grass or something that would disagree with her? But, another very great possibility is Kennel cough. It is a serious, immediate treatment requiring upper respiratory disease. The symptoms are eye and nasal discharge, fever, lethargy and loss of appetite, yellow mucous or white foamy vomit. Another is a dry hacking cough. And if your family is tight on money, pay it off later, its really the dog that matters! and most vets have payment plans that are good for tight moneyed families. Get her to a vet a quick as possible!

I'm doing basic obedience right now. My trainer hasn't once handled my dog. He has shown me how to handle my dog by using his own dog but that's about it. The reasoning is that I need to learn how to do these basic corrections and what not myself. Learn more https://tinyurl.im/d4wQF

I have never considered sending my dog away for training. I guess I haven't found that much of a problem with him to even think about it.

Again, it may also have to do with the level of training you are looking for etc. No idea lol. I'm not a trainer. I think a first time dog owner needs to learn simple commands and how to handle their dog themselves as well.

How long has the dog been throwing up? Are his gums pink or white? Chicken and rice can be good for an upset stomach, Does he have diahrrea also? Is there an SPCA or Humane Society in your area? They sometimes will help with vet bills.

In the home remedy book for dogs to ease their stomachs it states to give them Kaopectate. If that doesn't help look around for a vet that will help with vet costs or will let you pay a little at a time b/c it could be that he bit a toad/frog that is poisonous or other serious issue. He also could become dehydrated and that could cause some other serious issues.

Since I had a puppy with Parvo once and this was one of the symptoms, along with refusing food and being lethargic, I would be on my way to the vet right now, better safe than sorry.

You will get a world of suggestions here, but in reality, you need to consult your vet before even considering doing anything suggested.
