tattoos? what a topic, some say they hurt and when i had my tattoos done it felt like i was being tickled. some people handle it better then others. if you are male the most painful place (resonable) would be your chest or the side of your leg because that is pure muscle. if you are female it can vary, i was told my hand would hurt but it never bothered me when i had them both done. best place for 1st tattoo is your arm or lower back or shoulder safe

I have 6 tattoos and the one that almost made me pass out was on the base of my neck/top of my spine!!! My girlfriend and I had the same one done, in the same place (a lesbian thing I think lol) and she has 20 or so tattoos and she is not affriad of the needle...even she thought it was damn painful!

Tattoos hurt. I don't care what anyone says. My experience...the top of my foot hurt like a mother...and my back (after 5 hours of ink slinging). It's a pain that keeps you coming back for more. I lost count at 30. Go for it!

Anywhere that has a lot of nerves is going to be painful.
A lot of people say over bone is the most painful place but personally i havent found that, more meaty places are worse.

Pain is relative and that answer will vary from person to person.
Generally any area with lots of nerve endings, thin skin or close to bones/tendons is bound to hurt more than a fleshy fatty area.
In my experience, the calf and knee area is beyond painful.

ONe the male's winky. I know a Tattoo artist that had to tattoo a ring around one once.

Bottom of the spine, pain unbelievable feels like their drilling a hole in your back, least painful is in the bikini area , suprisingly enough this just tickles :-)

The inner lip is pretty painful, as is the back. where the flesh is thin and over a bone EG Shin can also be very uncomfortable

I found it most painful against a bone. But after a couple of hours, they all hurt!
