Surely this is something you've discussed with your doctor! Right?!

Since you've posted this question in the Cancer category, are we to assume that you have cancer? The condition is called aplastic anemia and can be caused by neoplastic disease. Bone marrow suppression can also result from some medications, including chemotherapy, and from radiation therapy.

I would hope that this is not the case as if your bone marrow produces no white or red blood cells you will not survive without dramatic intervention. I assume that you are at home asking this question which would imply that your bone marrow is producing some but perhaps not enough white and red blood cells. If you provide more information I will offer you a better assessment.

Bone marrow failure, can be called Aplastic anemia. Not sure if there are other types. Person with this problem, need regular blood and platelet transfusions, they dont do white cell transfusions, but there are antibiotics and other meds to help stop infections. With out platelets, bleeding can occur in and outside the body. No/low red cells cause anemia (tiredness, paleness).

Bone marrow transplant maybe needed for long term survival

There are two groups of blood cancers that can cause this. MPN and MDN. both have foundations with excellent information and latest medical drug trials. Only cure stem cell transplant. Otherwise, it is quality of life management. See a HEMOTOLOGIST at once.
