need to know how to mix a cosmopolitan drink?

I bartend in the hottest upscale restuarant in Scottsdale and we have killer Cosmos. Our most popular way is:

2 oz. vodka (orange vodka is a good alternative)
.75 oz triple sec (cointreu and gran mariner are better)
splash cranberry
dash of sour mix (lime is traditional but can make it too tart, sour mix smooths it out nicer)

and if you wanna try something different use white cranberry juice. It tends to be sweeter and its just kinda neat having a clear cosmo.

Cosmopolitan Cocktail
1 oz vodka
1/2 oz triple sec
1/2 oz Rose's lime juice
1/2 oz cranberry juice
Shake vodka, triple sec, lime and cranberry juice vigorously in a shaker with ice. Strain into a martini glass, garnish with a lime wedge on the rim, and serve.

Here is another one:

1 oz vodka

Rim martini glass w/lime, strain mixture into martini glass.
