No it will not make it grow faster. Hair typically grows 1/2 inch a month, cutting your hair will not change that fact. But trimming it does help to remove split ends. I would trim it maybe every other month just to keep it healthy. If not, you'll just have really long limp, lifeless hair..... not very attractive.

It won't make it grow FASTER. All it will do is stop the ends of the hair from breaking off or splitting so much, and that will make it healthier, which will make it SEEM to grow "faster".
You could try taking supplemental vitamins, such as prenatal vitamins. Or calcium and vitamin E. I also have heard the rumor that some types of "horse" shampoo is supposed to work...I forget what it's called though...something about Mane & Tail or something. Sorry I can't remember!
Anyway, good luck growing your hair out! I love long hair...mine is down to my waist. =)

no, because your hair grows from the roots.
trimming is good every once in a while to keep the ends healthy but not to help it grow.
they have shampoos that supposedly help your hair grow faster.
also try tugging on your hair a little bit when you clean it. a friend of mine does this and said it helps it grow faster. not sure if it works
good luck!!

Hair grows out of the top of your head. The only thing trimming does is take the brittle ends and get rid of them so your hair looks longer because it is healthier. Get some good vitamins and plenty of water and protein and your hair will be long before you know it!

No, hair grows about 1/2 inch per month so the more you cut it the shorter it will become.
People can tell really ignorant things.

turn your hair over your head and use some style of hair oil like coconut oil or hair sirum and rub down it into the roots of your hair. do this for roughly 2-3 minutes and it gets your blood going and facilitates making your hair develop alot swifter. The greater commonly you do this the greater swifter your hair will develop. a stable thought is to do this in the previous you wash your hair because it will make your hair seem somewhat greasy. i did no longer think of it may artwork yet better than certainly one of my acquaintances have been asking if i became into donning hair extensions around 2 weeks into doing it so it surely works and that i've got watched alot of YouTube video clips of people's in the previous and after photos of their hair and how all of them used the comparable approach. it delivers you long soft silky hair in weeks !!

No. In fact, hair grows about 1cm a month. Trimming it frequently defeats the purpose!

Maybe once a month is ok too. Apparently if you cut your hair when the moon is waxing (i.e. getting towards full) your hair will go grow quicker. I've known about this for years and I do think there's some truth in it!

your hair will continue to grow as long as you keep it healthy and keep heat and chemicals if possible out of it. yes you do need to trim the split ends but that in itself doen't make it grow faster. everyones hair grows at its own rate!
