Well first of all, its not just Mexicans. I think most of these greencard marriages are done by people overseas. But to answer your question, if the woman married for love and not just for him to get his greencard, then she wouldn't get in trouble. She wouldn't be lying in the interview. The man is the one who tricked her.

Hmmm ... first of all, if she married him recently and he's got his green card, that card is only temporary for two years ... after the two years, BOTH parties will have to apply to get the conditions removed ... then, and only then, will he get a permanent green card ...
If she has already been married to him for two years, and they are in the process of getting the conditions removed, I would suggest she doesn't go along with that ... he can't apply on his own, he will have to prove that both are still bona fide married and intend to stay married ... so it's not as bad as it seems ....

Marriage fraud is also a racket to be aware of. One man tried to marry something like 5 women simultaneously....some court found people getting 'married' that didn't even know each other...
if you're unsure about the whole business, don't marry the guy...

If you believe he married you mainly to get a green card, report this to the Immigration Service. They will interview him again and determine if he should get a card or not.

If she married him just to get him in the US, yes she can and rightly too. There is a reason it's illegal, too many illegals already here. So not only should he be shipped back, send her along too.

I don't think she will get into trouble.....How was she supposed to know he'd leave her. Also, that is a very long run on sentence.
