Do men have better peripheral vision than women?

Question

I just notice when I walk at the market. Men seem to be aware of who is walking past and women mostly are not.

Also, when I buy a bagel , I walk up to the bagels and pick one out. Takes maybe 5 seconds on average. Was watching women buying a bagel, they stand and just look , deciding for like 3 minutes, why?

Also, a woman in SF did a study showing women say like 20K words in a day. Men only 7K. Also she said women get high on hearing their own voices, then she went on and on and on ...............

I dont think mens peripheral vision is any better than women's. I think men just have to look at every damn thing they see. Stand one day and look at men on the street. They literally look the same as dogs do on the street. As far as the bagels go men obviously dont care as much about the bagel they will eat. Women probably try to choose the best one in the bunch or the one with more blueberries than the other. Men dont think enough before they act. Isn't that clearly obvious ? And as far as us talking more its just how it is. We cant control the 20k words more than you can control the 7k. Men are simple and really dont have much to say, what can I say ?? They just stand there like dogs.

I'm a psychology and biology major and as far as my knowledge goes the answer is no. The properties of the male and female eye are identical anatomical. If you were to take the eye of a male and female and try to indentify the sex, by just the eye you would be unable to do so. The only difference is men may pay more attention to their peripheral vision than women do, but it can also work the other way around so my answer would be no.

LOL!! Men have better peripheral vision- so that don't jerk the neck out of joint to look at women- and taking that much tome to pick out a bagel is goofy- she should know what she wants and not hold up the line!! LOL! Most women to use more word- and husbands use less- so by the time they get home from work they have already used their words up-; )

Woman and Men are very different when it comes to how we act, or see, do...you name it.

Woman may take longer at deciding what bagel to buy, because they like to try new things, or are watching their diet.
While a man,knows what he likes, doesn't want anything, but what he is craving. Such a certain bagel

Men seem more aware of there surroundings, they use their eyes, looking at woman, woman, woman, and other things (wink)
While a woman may check out a cute guy, and go on. We woman know how to take a look from the side of our eyes, believe me! (smile)

woman do talk more than men, that is certain. That's just how we are made. While guys may speak less & woman more, its always been that way, Its what makes us unique! Its a good balance, or else this world would be too quite or way too noisy!

Keep in mind other research shows women talk so much that for us guys it just all blends together into a noise we can barely hear, let alone understand.

Women need to learn if they want us to hear something, instead of constantly b*tching about, "But I *told* you this last week! You *never* listen!" then they have to stop talking for a while, then drop their voice an octave, then talk, then shut the h*ll up for a while.
