most likely, i have a german shepherd/ mini schnauser mix. he is very cute. the only way it wouldn't kill the mom is if she was the shepherd, otherwise, the puppies would be too big. why?

Why would it be a joke? That is a completely possible mix. There's no telling how big your dog will be. A mix of the two breeds could be anywhere between standard Chihuahua size and standard German Shepherd size. As you can see, that is a WIDE range. I have a Chihuahua x Australian Shepherd mix - she is 15 lbs full grown. Her brother from the same exact litter grew up to be 35 lbs! You can take a pretty decent guess looking at how much the dog weighs at about 3-4 months, how fast the dog is growing, and how big the dogs paws are. If he only weighs 5 lbs at four months, chances are he's going to stay small. If he weighs 15 lbs at four months, he'll probably get to be around 30 lbs. Generally, small dogs, also, grow slower. This will apply to such a breed mix, too, if he's going to stay small. (My Chihuahua x Aussie grew very slowly compared to her brother, for example). Big dogs, however, tend to sprout overnight! And as far as the paws go, that's not a completely accurate method... but a lot of times, the bigger the paws of the puppy, the bigger he'll be at adult hood. ETA: People, a dog is a dog. Genetics don't know "size" all they know is species. A Chihuahua is the same species as a GSD and so, yes, it IS a possible mix.

Yeah, that's a Mutt.

All dogs that are "combo's" of breeds, like cockapoos and labradoodles and schnoodles, those are all just mutts. It doesn't mean they are bad dogs, some can be very nice. But they are not registerable, not pure, and usually overpriced. Best to just look for a pet at the shelter who really needs you.

No. But I am sure if you tried, you could find out first hand.

Yeah, you should change your profile pic. Too revealing to you...it leaves little to the imagination and frankly, I do not want to have to be reminded of that every time I answer one of your questions. Decency my friend, decency...learn it.

Probably - some idiots will create any type of mutt imaginable!

It would depend on who the mama is and who is the daddy. I agree with the other poster----your picture is really bad.
