I take offense at the phrase "most Christians". Do you have a poll that proves such a theory? If not, kindly quit generalizing. Most of us do not like nor condone war. War is not a religious thing. Even though some people in power like to use religion as a shield for their true agenda, it does not mean they are religiously motivated. They are simply gifted with the ability to rally people behind a cause which may or may not really be what they are wishing to fight for. Almost all wars are fought for power, resources, and monetary gain. No more noble a cause and no less.

You are making a very broad and unfounded generalization. The many Christians I know, including myself, are greatly saddened and offended by war. We wish for peace, yet know that at times there is no other way.

People have been at war since they came down out of the trees. War is the nature of man. It's not only Christian but Atheist, Agnostics and all religions. xx

No.. no contradiction here, as Christians do not love war. we value our freedoms and we value our freedom to worship only the God of the Bible , the only religion that is true as it has the teachings of Jesus. God clearly says if they dont teach Jesus, it is false religion. But, since we do value our freedom to worship the one true God, we know that many religions want to force us to belive as they do, as the MUSLIMS. and they want to kill all Christians that wont adhere to their beliefs. Read the Koran..... So, because of our love for God, we will fight and hold onto our freedoms to worship the God we know is real, and we wont let anyone take that from us. Love war??? NO. Love Peace??? YES. and therefore we will fight for it. Dont want to fight for it but these false religions leave us no choice. Its either fight or allow them to come and take us over, taking every right, including the right to worship the God of the Bible.
so as you see, no contradiction thre, and there are no more contracitions in the Bible either as some claim. Its just people that dont understand enough to KNOW what God is saying, who He is talking to and WHY. If I dont want my kid to run into the street, because I love him, am I being cruel to dicipline him, or it is unloving not to dicipline my child???? Same with God. Just study and pray, and it will all come together like a giant puzzle, one piece at a time, and you wake up some morning and go wa la. No one has all the answers, but we can get to the point we understand enough to know God and His will for ourselves, as we continue to study and pray and ask God for the rest... we will be learning till Jesus comes......
