been burried I have tryed everything I can think of as far as the obituarys yada, yada. I keep going to dead ends. I would think there would be a free web site to find out something like that. If anybody can help that would be great. Giving me a direct link would be even better. Thankyou for your time!

Hopefully, you know the town they died in. Most County Record Offices keep records of births and deaths which should include last place of residence, cause of death and the coroners name and possibly where the coroner pronounced the death. Since you tried the obituaries, I suggest you next check with local hospitals to see where he died, they usually have records of which undertaker the body was released to, and they will know the disposition (burial, cremation, or cemetery that the body was sent) Most cemeteries have records of which location on their grounds where the remains were interred. There is always a paper trail leading to the final resting place even if the loved one was released to a relative for burial out of the area (such as a soldiers cemetery). There is always someone who knows.

Go to the undertaker who handled the funeral. Ask someone who was at their funeral and burial. Check to see if it's registered with vital statistics or if that department can help you.
