How can I eliminate dark spots in the armpit?

People have told me try special deodorants, and wax insted shave that area, I have already tried but it hasn't worked, what can I do?, what is the main reason that spots appear?

sometimes its the ingredients in the deodorant that u use. I tried lime juice after taking a shower, rub lime juice and let it dry, then wash of and try using anti-perspirant like Dove or Arrid. the gel kind.

Actually dark patches of skin in the armpits or on the neck can be a sign of Insulin Resistance. Do you have a family history of diabetes? Also if you are over-weight you can get Type II with no family history.
