is wrong with my knee joints, and could it cause me to have knee pain later in life?

What it means, my dear, is that we're getting older! I call it "rice krispy syndrome", and some mornings I make a lot of noise. Getting old may not be all giggles, but it sure beats the alternative!

It's nothing to worry about. Some physicians will tell you that what you hear is air being forced out the joint when it's flexed. There seem to be two schools of thought as to what it actually is but it's generally agreed on that it's harmless. "Cracking" or "popping" joints are extremely common.

Mine does that too. I used to be able to do it to my neck when I was younger. My mother took me to the hospital and the doctor said there was nothing wrong with me. I cant do it anymore but theres nothing to worry about.
